تم إجراء هذين التسجيلين الممتازين في الاعتصام الذي جرى بتاريخ 12 أبريل/نيسان من هذا العام. وكان الجو مفعم بالحيوية بعد أن تنحى “الديكتاتور” البشير في اليوم السابق. في الملف الصوتي الأول، يقدم لنا القائم على المقابلة فكرة عن الوضع. وفي الثاني، أجرى مقابلة مع فنانة شابة.

The assignment of the Online Academy course Module 2 consists of a short audio recording. At the time this assignment was sent to the participants, people in Khartoum were protesting against the government of President Omar Al Bashir. So, we were not really surprised when we received recordings from the sit-in in front of the army command in the city.
These two excellent recordings were made at the sit-in on 12 April this year. The atmosphere is exuberant as ‘dictator’ Al Bashir was ousted the day before. In the first audio unit, the interviewer gives us an idea about the situation. In the second one, he interviews a young woman artist.
We really liked the work. The background sound gives a good impression of the atmosphere It is clear but not too loud. The questions are good as well, though they could have been a bit more neutral. Yet, one does understand the reaction of the participant himself: ‘It is impossible not to be excited about these developments.’
